 Pakistani dates are very famous in the whole world, In south Asia, Pakistan is the only country which grows dates on a commercial scale. Pakistan exports a large scale of dates. Dates are the 3rd most exported fruits in Pakistan. The harvesting season of the date starts in July and ends on Sept. Pakistan has 5 provinces from which 4 provinces produce dates. the large production of dates is in Khairpur/ Sukkur which is located in the province of Sindh. In Balochistan, dates produce in the city of Turbat/Panjgur. In KPK D I khan produce dates on a large scale. Jhang the city of Punjab produces dates for Punjab.  There are more than 160 types of dates available in Pakistan. According to a survey, Pakistan produces 550000 to 650000 Metric Ton dates annually.
